Kieler Woche 2018 closed today in Kiel, Germany, for the Laser Standard and Laser Radial Women’s fleets. After 7 races and a Medal Race, German sailor Philipp Buhl GER and Danish Anne-Marie Rindom DEN were the champions. Medal Race was determinant to decide the Laser Standard champion in Kiel, where Philipp Buhl (7th on Medal) could overtake British sailor Elliot Hanson GBR (9th on Medal) on lead and finish competition 1 point in front of him. Third place overall was for Medal Race winner Filip Jurisic CRO. The Laser Radial Women’s championship was for also winner of Medal Race Anne-Marie Rindom, followed by Line Flem Host NOR and Josefin Olsson SWE.
