The 2025 ILCA Senior European Championships & Open European Trophy came to a close today in spectacular fashion, as the new European champions were crowned across all three fleets. A sunny sky and classic Marstrand conditions — with the wind building from 8 knots in the morning to 15 knots in the afternoon, and the swell rising from 0.5 to 1.5 metres — provided a fitting backdrop for the final battles on the water. Both racecourses delivered challenging but fair racing, rewarding consistency and composure under pressure. With the medals on the line, the atmosphere was tense but electric, and the fleets rose to the occasion.
